... Oh & Anon 11:30, be sure to read Linda Diebel quotation today:
"However, Laschinger" (a Veteran Conservative strategist) "points out that in an August Nanos Research poll Ignatieff is in a virtual tie with Harper when people were asked who'd make the best prime minister. "That's a huge number for Ignatieff. ... If those numbers stay close, it should be of concern to some of the Conservatives."
That is a huge number, even a close score is very optimistic for an opposition leader. It's actually a loaded question, because one is the PM, people associate that, built in advantage. To be fair, AR gives Harper a decided edge, getting bigger.
I seem to recall Paul Martin wholloping Harper in every personal poll prior to the 2006 election. I mean SMASHED him. Dare say the country misses good fiscal management of Paul Martin these days.
The part of The Bible that says steward the Earth or the end of hte Bible that says must be destroyed? The Christian prophet Jesus says to help the poor yet all of Harper's policies direct wealth into the hands of the rich.
Why choose the Christian prophet over the Islam prophet given the latter left written works. A preference for women's rights? But then what about the whole rib thing. If God says destroy Earth, I'd find a different god that didn't say that, not obey on my knees the command for anarchy. But unlike Harper, I'll go with the steward-the-Earth part of the Bible and ignore completely the Revelations part.
What country would that be?
ReplyDeleteWell it does sound like George W.'s
ReplyDeleteHe also made reference to god's judgement in the interview, very Dubya-like.
ReplyDeleteWell, when you're doomed to be judged probably the worst PM ever, who else can you turn to but God?
ReplyDeleteWell, Anon @10:06 AM, what does that say about Iggy, if Harper is ahead of him in every poll that speaks to leadership.
ReplyDeleteYou should probably start reading C. Cat's posting if you really want to know what is going on.
The present PM's motto:

All this is moon music until a writ is dropped.

Geez, Harper - using God as a cop-out for your failures is rather weak.
ReplyDeleteCountry first Harper? If so, you'd resign.
Is this a Seinfield Post?
ReplyDeleteTomm
Is that your lame attempt at humour?

A Seinfeld government (if Ben Stein was starring in it) deserves a Seinfeld post once in a while...
