Funniest Political Ad In Canadian History?

I dare anyone to make it to the end without laughing so hard your colon touches your tonsils:

Should be charged with fraud.

Not only have Harpercon mafia stolen money, rights and services;and dignity and jobs and ...and ....and....and ....infinitum... Now I also accuse him of stealing my sense of humour. All this ad makes me want to do is punch someone.

Very understandable, bigger hypocrites this nation has never seen...

Wasn't so much any laughter on my part; just the feeling I'm going to retch, and then wanting to throw stuff at my monitor.

By the way, I think the Liberals should use this as an attack ad. Run about 25 seconds of this, then end with "Canada, do you enjoy being duped?"

Jokes on us Canada.

It's funny, but it's also quite sinister. This wasn't the only advertisements done as a phony newscast-like interview of its leader. These bizarre little ads reek of public manipulation. A manipulation deemed necessary because Harper believes the public doesn't know what it wants and is not able to act appropriately of its own accord. So yeah, while a lot of us look at these things and laugh at their ridiculousness, others of the more doughy-minded persuasion lap it all right up. "You change the people in charge, but you also have to change the system". Joe Stalin would be proud.

I agree, this should be the basis of an attack ad, people need a reminder of just how far things have eroded.

I never listen to the man if I can help it, it makes my brain feellike a colon from the get go: like I'm being shat on while he smirks his grandmother fooling smile at us all.

hi Steve...I only made it to the six second mark before I fell off my chair laughing.
Stooge: How is it that hundreds of millions of dollars go missing and no one is in jail?
Harper: Well look who's in charge.
Indeed. HAHAHAHAHA
Thanks.

Flaherty campaigned in Ontario in 2003 as if he had balanced Ontario's books, when in fact he had lied to the Ontario legislature about 5.6 billion in hidden debt, maybe if journalists had any memory or historical research skills I wouldn't be the only one saying this: and yet it goes right to the heart of the matter: the corporatist media allows these people to get away with whatever lies they want to get away with.

Jerry, it was worse than that. Flaherty was forecasting a $6 billion surplus for Ontario for the end of fiscal 2003, on his last budget prior to the writ being dropped. Only after the election, when the government changed, did we find out the true, dismal state of Ontario's finances.

So Flaherty actually fucked up his last forecast by close to $12 billion. I'm guessing it's the same "accounting difference" now being applied to the F-35's.

Keep this in mind whenever I call Flaherty the worse Ontario finance minister, EVER! Even the NDP's Floyd Laughren (finance minister in Rae's government) was never that bad. Flaherty should not be holding his current position under any circumstance.
