The opposition has yet to offer much constructive advice on a budget that could bring down his government, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said in Calgary today.
"They're extremely thin - we do not have detailed proposals," Harper told CHQR radio.
Okay, so what the Liberals have been saying is "extremely thin". Remember that.
When the question turned to tax cuts, Harper said of the Liberals:
"Much of what Mr. Ignatieff is saying is close to what Mr. Flaherty is saying,"
So, if the Liberals have been "extremely thin", and Flaherty agrees with the Liberals, what does that make Flaherty's proposals? Exactly.

So Iggy and Harper are almost the same...
No wonder I support none of them.
"So Iggy and Harper are almost the same"
Sigh.
I'm not sure if you got the memo Steve, but Harper and the Conservatives are liars.
You really shouldn't believe anything they say.
Hope I've clearede that up for ya!
;)
It's only cowtown, Steve. He's playing his ukelele to a friendly crowd, keeping them riled up and feeding the uninformed pseudo talking points thru the radio. It's white noise to wash down the flushing sound of lies being fed into the toilet.
No doubt all those Calgary deep pocketed conservative supporters are eager-beavers to see a big new honking federal deficit budget. Unfortunately, because all their ridings are locked up (except one) much of the 'sweet, sweet lucre' won't be pumped Alberta's way.
I got the hypocrite memo, but I must have missed that particular one.

Oil is less than 40 dollars a barrel now. What do they want Harper to do, freeze the Eastern bastards?
