He has taken away the Monday opposition day. He'll be campaigning at taxpayer's expense all next week. Neat, eh?

anon,

The intention of the opposition is very clear at this point. They desire a new Liberal/NDP coalition ministry.

The Governor-General is obviously aware of this direction and would be ill-advised to call an election before the will of the House of Commons is officially expressed.

There will be no campaign.

Don't want to say that I said that this is what should happen way back when, but I am so glad it is happening.

Those eyes look like two piss-holes in the snow, as we used to like to say..

Anon: Harper's eyes like holes in the snow. That's because he knows he's just pissed his government away, and knows that at least 60% of the Canadian people will be dancing in the streets over his governments carcass. And we won't be eating that yellow snow either.

Jerry Prager, I'm with you, I too have been calling for this coalition for a long time. I'm one Canadian who will be dancing in the street with a ghetto blaster playing shananana nananana.

Steve, the first picture of Harper boxing, someone should have told him that you don't box with your tongue between your teeth, even the bag could bounce back and hit him.

Add me to the list of Canadians who will dance in the streets.

Excellent depiction of the past two days Steve.

Will Dion or Goodale be the interim head of the coalition government? I've seen both names mentioned.

While the Cons will fan out across the country crying "coup d'etat", the Liberals will have a chance to get their affairs in order. Lots to come on that front methinks, lots. Gives everyone a chance to think this through...

I just created a Facebook group 'I support Coalition Government' in Canada. I would love to have astounding numbers by next week, so find me and join. The American press reported that during the last election for the first time ever the centre left had more bloggers than the right, we need a common front, and this is it.

I read where Harper might not relinquish power, good grief.

If all parties work together to solve this crisis then they all look good. Harper has a chance to make a lasting mark on his legacy, but instead will end up looking like a failed PM.

Lets not look at this with rose coloured glasses, as this whole scenario could blow up in our face and could be the catalyst for a Harper majority.

I wonder if Prentice is licking his chops...

Iggy and Rae are receiving good coverage in all this, while Dom is invisible. What does that say about his candidacy?

Iggy is looking quite statesmanlike, but needs to tread carefully and keep his team in check.

Without upsetting the Dionistas, I would prefer that Dryden, McCallum or Goodale run the coalition.

However, if Dion leads and is effective then does he put his hat back into the ring? In fact if any of the names listed above do a good job, do they put their name in the ring? This is the danger for Iggy.

Why do the CPC always put that ass PP on a their spokesman? I cant stand that guy.

Steve V said...

I love when the put PP up, does anyone really believe that dweeb resonates?
