Time For Some House Cleaning

Have you visited the Liberal website recently? I know everyone is busy, but would it be possible to update the frontpage? The current video link, tends to bring up bad memories, unless of course it's advantageous to remind everyone of a campaign that delivered our worst vote percentage in history:

Just a thought :)

Not to mention the website blows. The old one was better. I don't understand the point of the popups when you mouse over the various topic on the home page. Looks like someone was just proving they could play with javascript.

Agreed.

The popups will just scare off elderly voters. Given the demographics of the country and the demographics of those most likely to vote, political websites should be very user-friendly and have BIG font.

Just ask my mom.

We need the "swag for sale" section back. We need to sell swag!

Swag is good. Even the Greens have swag.

Good catch.

Perhaps it doesn’t matter, but to some of us it does… and it speaks volumes to the negligent rot and systemic dysfunction that seems to pervade the LPC at the moment.

I just shake my head in weary dismay at the sorry state of our party these days.

Sad… so very, very sad.

I'm proud of the campaign and proud of our leader, Stephane Dion.
The result wasn't what any of us wanted (right, Michael?) but the campaign represents the blood, sweat and tears of a man who had a great GREEN vision for Canada. He was perhaps too ahead of his time.

It's what happens when we stop giving people roles based on talent and experience, and supplant that with the "who you knows" and other poor appointees...

I still think the LPC needs hiring standards, and set, defined requirements for people going into roles - and to include these regs for provincial parties...

Not a comment on Dion, but I think we can all agree, it might be time to turn the page on election 08 for the website.

It's been bothering me too that the Lib site hasn't been updated to reflect "moving on" so to speak. Don't know who is supposed to be maintaining the site but whoever it is they haven't been doing their job.

The site has been updated!
