Harper Lets His Hair Down

Let me be clear Harper. Your word means nothing and your asking for a majority? Canada does not need a dictator for a leader. I don't think so And BTW Harper, your government is a recycled Reform/Alliance party. There is nothing conservative about you.

I believe this whole thing was planned by harper. He would never let a video be taped and this one is way too obvious. He gets his message across too.....he gets to mention "a majority" and "the coalition" both of which are THE issues for the CON campaign. Then they send it to the CBC...its just too much....it is deliberate.

Look at the publicity its generating and the message he is sending.

This guy is as slippery as a snake and as sly as a weasel. There is no doubt this was planned.

I hardly think this is a good move if it was planned.

Bitter Harper never sells well except to his faithful, who lap it up.

But doesn't he need to gain some new votes to get his majority.

If anything this is an untimely reminder of the real Harper stepping up as he always does. He had been doing a good job of laying low this summer.

CBC Newsworld are showing clips of it, there is a ton of fodder there for Liberal ads that will be televised & this will help get the message out to the t.v. viewing public thus, I should think, making it a lot more difficult for Harper to get his craven majority. The vid was leaked & I'm sure not intended for public consumption.

Do people not already know all these things about Harper and don't care ? I mean, are there really people out there who don't know who this man is ? It's been obvious since his first week in office.

The whole thing planned by Harper? I don't know and don't care - it just reaffirms what we already know and a reminder is good.

O/T - did anyone watch Tom Clark, CTV-Power Play last night. His guests were Rick Dykstra and Martha Hall-Finlay. I think Dykstra said to Tom Clark - dont' worry Tom, Mike is there to help you (I presume meaning Duffy) and Clark looked shocked/upset and said to Dykstra "I'm my own man"...I just wondered if I heard correctly. If so, Dykstra is a real jerk. In fact, when Martha Hall Finlay was talking he constantly yelled and interrupted - this the Tory strategy - don't let the opposition guest get a word, or more importantly an "important fact" out?

I know CTV is conservative, but I really thought Clark was trying to be more balanced - why the comment from Dykstra?

I don't think there is any chance at all that Tories took that footage and leaked it on purpose. There is too much inflammatory stuff that Harper said that would turn people off. It reminds me of the comments he made at the end of the 2004 and 2006 elections that caused last minute shifts away from the Tories.

Sandi, don't remember the exact wording, but I think the Mike he was referring to was Ignatieff.

KNB - either way, it was totally crass.

If Canadians even give Harper a minority, they are as sicker and out of touch with the reality of this vile, piece of sh*t and no better than he is. I think its time that the Liberals start shouting at the lot of them and to the papers . Maybe a libel suit or two would help as well. You know what we do with varmints like snakes and weasels? We trap them and send them scrambling back to their dens with their tails behind them. Every time that man appears on TV, I can feel my blood boil. What a despicable sorry human being he is. And I agree, he probably planned this all along. He is frothing at the mouth anticipating an election he doesn't want to call goading the Liberals to call. He thinks the polls are in his favor but I hope Canadians aren't that dumb and see right through him.As for the polls, they are so lopsided they mean nothing. It makes me wonder who the pollsters call, the questions they ask etc. I have never been called nor my family and what are the odds of that happening. As for the coalition, their is the letter he penned on Sept 9 2004 to the than GG Clark and if the Liberals were smart, they and the other 2 opposition parties should be rubbing their faces in it.I can dig it up if anyone is interested.
